Learn to Play Blackjack

The basic rules of Blackjack can be taught in minutes but it will take years of practice at the game to become a real Blackjack master.

In the game of Blackjack each player is playing against the dealers hand not the other players at the table. So you do not need to beat them but you have to pay attention to their cards, because what they do can affect the cards you may need.

The Basics for the Game is to get as close to 21 as you can without going over. The dealer deals out 1 card face down to each player then he deals 1 card face up for each player. He will then deal 2 cards face down for himself.

Each player then has the option to hit or stay. To Hit means to draw another card and to stay means you feel you have a good hand of 21 or so close that chances are drawing another card will put you over.

The dealer has unlike the player must always hit if he is under 16 and once the dealer reaches a Blackjack hand over 17 the dealer must stay.

The blackjack player also has the option to double down. this means you double your bet and receive only 1 last card so only do this when you are sure that doubling down will help you win.
